Music is the fuel of my visual engine - for this reason I have chosen to dedicate a series of linocuts to it: The Paper Quartet.

Featuring a jazz saxophone and a blues rock guitar in the front, and a jazz bass with funk influences and a psychedelic rock drum in the rear, The Paper Quartet blends sounds from across the world.

The quartet's third print, "Blast," is a tribute to the groovy, gut-shaking frequencies that only an electric bass can produce.
This linocut is a direct response to Marcus Miller's slapping fingers and his powerful sounds.

Match it with "Physical Graffiti", "Easy Living" and the upcoming drum-focused print to complete the quartet.
